This micro-credential represents a single module within a larger further award (eg. Certificate, Diploma, Masters). By taking this micro-credential you may be eligible to apply for a credit exemption should you progress to study for a further award. The programmes associated with this MicroCred are:

The aim of this module is to give an effective and functional overview of Quality Management.

It will:

1. Introduce you to the role that Quality Management plays in the workplace.

2. Make you aware of the how to implement a range of quality strategies and tools.

3. Inform you about the impact that quality has on the organisation as a whole. Key to successful learner engagement will be a series of work-based exercises designed to plan, implement and assess quality management activities in their own, or chosen organisation.

Delivery is a hybrid of traditional distance education and online learning together with a number of face-to-face / on-line tutorials. In addition, there are online discussions moderated by a subject matter expert on elements of each module to reinforce the learning and maximise the benefit of the programme for participants.

A minimum Level 7 qualification Where an applicant does not meet the entry requirements above, they can be evaluated under the UL RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) policy and may be interviewed to ascertain their suitability for the programme.
