FREEDOM OF INFORMATION (FOI) Training
The Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 2014 applies to the University of Limerick and impacts on all of us in our day-to-day work.
This practical 1 hour FOI awareness session will provide an understanding of FOI and will cover:
An introduction to the FOI Act 2014, including important definitions
- How the FOI process works within the University,
- Practical implications of FOI - obligations and requirements FOI places on each of us as employees of the University.
This session is highly recommended for all employees of the University – both those new to the area of FOI and those who wish to refresh their FOI knowledge.
At least one person from each division/department/unit is strongly encouraged to attend. OPTIONAL LINE???
