These Acts govern the privacy of personal data and legally provide for the collection, processing and destruction of personal data in a responsible and secure way. A practical Data Protection awareness course will be delivered in order to provide an understanding of Data Protection and the obligations and requirements the Acts place on each of us as employees. This one-hour course is highly recommended for all employees of the University. At least one person from each division/department/unit is strongly encouraged to attend.
