Consent Framework
In February 2021, Limerick submitted the Consent Framework Action Plan to the HEA. UL is working on creating their own Sexual Harassment, Sexual Misconduct and Sexual Violence policy. This Action Plan contains several actions covering the following key areas:

- Institutional Processes: Recording
- Institutional Processes: Policy
- Targeted Initiatives

Speak Out Tool
The policy will further be supported and informed through a number of intervention/supports e.g. the anonymous reporting tool (Speak Out) to be launched in September 2021 providing the institution with very useful data on the experience of students and staff in relation to any form of sexual harassment, bullying and any other forms of unacceptable behaviour such as racism, transphobia, homophobia etc.
