Congratulations to Dr Tim Groenland (EIC) who has been awarded a YERUN (Young European Research Universities Network) Research Mobility Award. 

On 22 December 2021, the HSE Open Access Research Awards were announced in an online ceremony. It was a year of unprecedented interest in the awards and the judging panel had to be expanded to deal with the surge in entries.

In August 2022, the students from the Faculty of AHSS  received their parchments. Congratulations to all the students who graduated and well done to the 4 PhD students who were awarded their doctorates: 

Dr. Ann Marcus Quinn was quoted in the Irish Examiner on a piece discussing student nurses and the mandatory purchase of technology.

The Limerick-based, Irish Chamber Orchestra has announced a scholarship fund for talented students on the MA Classical String Performance at University of Limerick. ICO has committed to providing 8k per annum for the next five years. These scholarships, awarded on merit, will assist with student college fees for one year.
