UL's Head of Japanese Leads a Japanese CPD Workshop in Dublin

On Friday 16th February, Dr Erika Marcet (Head of Japanese, MLAL) was invited by Post-Primary Languages Ireland to present at a Japanese CPD workshop in The Digital Hub, in Dublin.

The workshop was attended by 25 teachers of Japanese at primary, secondary and university level, as well as teachers in training (including two teacher students, Ben and Leo, from the BEd Languages in UL). The presentation, entitled “Teaching for improved communication skills” focused on innovative and engaging ways of teaching Japanese non-verbal communication in the classroom.
