Our Geographers held their first Climate Fresk challenge on 28th November 2021 in the Glucksman Library with colleagues from the Kemmy Business School and MIC.  Dr Yvonne Ryan, Lecturer in Geography and Co-Chair of the challenge commented that “as a scientist it can be difficult to express and communicate the sheer enormity of the climate crisis”. Climate Fresk aims to enable rapid growth in climate education, and shared understanding of the challenge that climate change presents. Geographers are actively researching optimal ways to integrate tools such as Climate Fresk into undergraduate and postgraduate teaching within the faculty to engage staff and students in action for climate.  A special note of thanks to Helena Fitzgerald of UL +CityxChange, who co-chaired and facilitated the Climate Fresk challenge.
