Professor Joseph O'Connor has been shortlisted as Author of the Year in the forthcoming Irish Book Awards and his novel 'My Father's House' is shortlisted as Novel of the Year. Voting in all categories is available at www.irishbookawards.ie. The award winners will be announced on November 22nd at The Convention Centre, Dublin. An Post Irish Book of the Year TV show will air on RTÉ One on December 6th.
