Journalism for a Day

The Journalism for a Day event held on Tuesday March 13th, provided prospective students with a practical insight into studying journalism and digital communications at UL.

The day was set in our extensive facilities, including our radio studio and state of the art tv and podcast studio. The structure of the day included students delivering pieces to camera, use of our mojo and broadcast equipment as well as a tour of our facilities, including our dedicated newsroom. The Taster day allowed students to meet our highly experienced academic staff who delivered mock lectures in their discipline. Students also met with our current students and graduates and find out about their experiences and career opportunities.
