Guest lecture Lecture and PhD Masterclasses with Std Prof Monika Albrecht (Univ. Vechta, Germany)

The Centre for Irish-German Studies hosted Std Prof Monika Albrecht (University of Vechta) lecturing on "Postkoloniales Denken in der Kritik" (supported by the DAAD project "Promoting German in Ireland“) on 8 February 2024.

During her stay in UL she also contributed to an innovative scheme the Centre developed to support postgraduate students by offering one-to-one masterclasses for PhD students in German / Cultural Studies, on this occasion coming from UL, MIC and UCD.
