Dr Laura Cahillane presents at TRICON Article 26 Conference

On the evening before the Supreme Court began its hearing of the Article 26 reference case to consider the constitutionality of the Judicial Appointments Commission Bill, Trinity’s TRICON centre held a conference to discuss the issues involved. Dr Laura Cahillane presented a paper on the issues of diversity and merit in the bill and concluded that while improvements could have been made that these issues will likely not be found to be unconstitutional.
