Dr Hannah Fahey (Irish World Academy) was invited to serve on the review committee selecting the first members of the UK Young Academy at The Royal Society, London. The UK Young Academy will bring together emerging leaders from industry, academia, education, business, the arts, and other professions. Through working together to understand key issues facing society, the UKYA will press for best practice across sectors and enable positive societal change.
