Find a programme that matches your interests. Review the entry requirements on the programme page to ensure your application will meet the criteria. 

Each programme will have requirements listed that you need to meet to be eligible to apply. You will upload the supporting documents to your application.

Examples of supporting documents: 

• Personal statement
• Transcripts
• Nomination and confirmation from a supervisor/mentor
• Other documents that support your knowledge, skills and experience 

Each programme has specific entry requirements outlined in the programme information. If you're eligible to apply for the programme you're interested in, you can choose to "apply now" and create an account to start your application.

There will be a 50 euro application fee and you'll receive a confirmation email to confirm your submission. No changes can be made while your application is in process.

You may be invited for an online or in-person interview depending on the programme you choose. 

Once you submit your application, you can track it's status through the online application system. 

You'll receive an email from the university to acknowledge your application has been successful. 

Once your application has been accepted, you'll receive an email with instructions to begin a few administrative tasks. These tasks may include: 

• Activating your student account
• Completing financial tasks
• Enrolling for your programme

There are two student fees classifications: EU and Non-EU. 

Each programme will detail the annual fees and are subject to change each year. You can also find information on whether you're eligible for student funding and scholarships. 

If your programme begins in Autumn or Spring, an online induction will be run by your faculty. Induction takes place during the 10 day-window before your programme begins. This date will be communicated with you. 

Induction will provide you with all the information you need to start your programme. A timetable will be created and you'll learn more about what to expect each semester. 

At this point you will also gain access to UL's Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) which is called Brightspace. You are encouraged to log into BrightSpace in particular to familiarise yourself with the platform and wealth of supports associated with using it. 

For many Autumn programmes, an on-campus orientation will take place on the Friday before week 1 of the semester.

myUL is UL’s app for students, helping you stay informed, supported and connected on campus. The app includes your timetable, an interactive campus map, Clubs & Societies, access to key student supports - all in one place.

Depending on your programme, student exams will take place at the end of every semester and the time for each module's exam can be found on the timetable.

When it's time to celebrate achieving your degree, we'll provide you with all the information you need - from when to reserve your Graduand robe, to what time and date your ceremony will take place.
