This department is responsible for all aspects relating to the management of special collections and archives, those who use them in their teaching, learning and research, and the related promotion and outreach.  It does this through the following functions:

• Special collections management
• Archives
• Instruction and research support
• Promotion and outreach

This department is responsible for building digital collections, seamless navigation and discovery of library collections and the development of digital scholarship.  It supports the needs of all library users through the following functions:

• Digital Library
• Digitisation Services
• Institutional Repository
• Library systems
• Website and electronic resources

This department is responsible for developing and delivering specialist and innovative services to faculty and researchers.  It supports the information needs of research masters, PhD’s, postdoc researchers, research faculty, through the following functions:

• Research data management
• Bibliometrics and research impact
• Research collections
• Evidence based research methods support including systematic reviewing
• Scholarly communications and Open Science
• Arts Practice Outputs
