Associate Professor, Dr. Conor Little, Dept. of Politics and Public Administration  -  Course Director, MA Politics

Conor Little is Associate Professor and Chair of Postgraduate Studies at the Department of Politics and Public Administration. He is Course Director of the MA in Politics and the Structured PhD in Politics. Conor's research interests include political parties, public policy, the comparative politics of climate change, and Irish politics.

Dr. Ger Coffey, School of Law - Course Director, LLM/MA Human Rights in Criminal Justice

Ger Coffey is Associate Professor at the School of Law and Course Director for the LLM/MA Human Rights in Criminal Justice. He originally graduated from UL with a BA in Law and European Studies and subsequently undertook postgraduate studies at the University of Galway (National University of Ireland, Galway), where he graduated with LLB and PhD degrees in Law. 

His research specialisation is criminal law and related issues pertaining to criminal procedure and the criminal justice process; he has been published widely in domestic and international law journals. He is a member of the Centre for Crime, Justice & Victim Studies in UL and also a member of the Complementarity in International Criminal Law Committee of the International Law Association Dr. Coffey was appointed Editor of the Irish Criminal Law Journal published by Round Hall, Ireland's leading law publisher.

Assistant Professor, Dr. Mauricio Perez-Alaniz – Department of Economics

Dr. Mauricio Perez-Alaniz is an Assistant Professor the Department of Economics, Kemmy Business School (KBS), University of Limerick. He is an applied economist interested in the economics of innovation and science, and in evaluating the impact of public policies and instruments focused on driving research and innovation activities in firms. He is also interested in the role of research and innovation for environmental sustainability, and the transition to a circular economy.
