Hello everyone! I am an Economics graduate from the University of Delhi, India, and I am currently pursuing my MSc in Economics and Policy Analysis at the University of Limerick. I am thrilled to share my journey and experiences with you.

After completing my bachelor's degree, I was eager to delve deeper into the world of economics and policy analysis. I chose the University of Limerick for my master's due to its academic reputation, supportive environment for international students, and the financial support options it offers. The university's industry connections and its location were also significant factors in my decision.

I am currently in the process of writing my dissertation, having recently completed my coursework. The MSc program has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of economics and policy analysis, and I am excited to apply this knowledge to my dissertation.

One of the highlights of my program was an educational trip to Paris. We visited renowned economic institutions and policy organizations, and engaged in insightful discussions with experts in the field. This trip was a unique blend of academic rigor and cultural immersion, and it reinforced the interdisciplinary nature of our program.

I am also excited to share that I have secured an internship with the Department of Public Expenditure, NDP Reform and Delivery through the IGEES program. This opportunity will provide me with invaluable insights into public policy and expose me to the inner workings of a government department.

I believe that the MSc in Economics and Policy Analysis program will significantly benefit my career. The program has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of economic principles, policy analysis frameworks, and research methodologies. These skills are invaluable in a wide range of careers, including government, think tanks, international organizations, consulting firms, and research institutions.

For future students, my advice would be to approach the program with enthusiasm, engage actively, seek networking opportunities, pursue research experiences, stay updated, make use of support services, and maintain a healthy work-life balance. This will help you maximize your learning experience and lay a sturdy foundation for a successful career in the field.
