EDI Supports
The EHS Faculty, in line with the policy in UL, aims to provide a safe environment for all our students, staff and visitors. Anyone with concerns or complaints about inappropriate behaviour or any kind of discriminatory or abusive behaviour in UL should report it and know that there are many support structures in place for anyone who is seeking assistance.
Speak Out is an online, anonymous reporting tool for students, staff, and visitors at the University of Limerick to report incidents of bullying, harassment, and assault. It also serves to signpost the individual to relevant supports and highlights formal reporting procedures, should they wish to take things further.
The Designated Contact Persons Panel (DCPP) has been established to support staff and students who may have experienced or are currently experiencing incidents of sexual harassment and sexual violence. The Student Counselling and Wellbeing Service serves as a first point of contact for mental health support and offers a variety of resources. Staff members can access confidential counselling and advice through the Employee Support Service.
For further information, visit UL support information, review the complaints procedure, and find the University's support contacts.
