The presentation, entitled 'To Guide But Not Censor: Irish Stakeholders' Perspectives on Guidance for Media Reporting on Sexual Violence', focused on Dr Leahy's research with media professionals and representatives from victim support organisations on their perspectives on Irish media coverage of sexual violence and the need for guidance in this area. The research on which this presentation is based was funded by the Irish Research Council New Foundations Scheme and was conducted in partnership with Sexual Violence Centre Cork. Dr Leahy's attendance at this conference was supported by funding from the AHSS Faculty Research fund.
