Dr Karol Mullaney-Dignam, School of History and Geography, recently delivered a lecture titled ‘Morals, manners, and customs: observations from the pre-Famine era in County Clare’ at Clare Museum. This was the penultimate lecture in the monthly lecture series at Músaem an Chláir, which opened in 2000, in a building that originally formed part of a Sisters of Mercy convent in Ennis.
