Performance title: Whistle Analogies
This performance aims to illustrate the comparison of two
traditional wind instruments (whistles) from Ireland and Serbia:
Irish tin whistle and Serbian frula. These whistles have more
in common than simply their physical resemblance. By playing
traditional tunes from both countries and tying them together at
the same time, Neda will attempt to draw connections between
these two traditions. students in traditional music in a relaxed and
informal atmosphere.
