Publication: Effect of COVID-19 lockdown on injury incidence and burden in amateur Rugby Union
Collaboration between IRIS (Irish Rugby Injury Surveillance) Prof Ian Kenny, Dr Tom Comyns, and Argentinian researchers Prof Eduardo Tondelli and Santiago Zabaloy explored an analysis of Southern hemishpere rugby injury burden resulting from the Covid-19 lockdown.
Sport and Human Performance Research Centre Launch
The President of World Athletics, Lord Sebastian Coe, will launch the Sport and Human Performance Research Centre (SHPRC) on October 26th at the University of Limerick.
Applications are invited for a PhD studentship funded by the Irish Rugby Football Union to start in January 2023, at the University of Limerick. Deadline: 17.00 Irish time (GMT+1) 21st of October 2022.
