Biography
Jill is a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a clinical background particularly in the area of older adults. On registration Jill has practiced as a nurse both nationally and internationally. Jill undertook a MSc in Gerontological Nursing whilst rotating through acute, rehabilitation, community and long term care units for older persons at St. James Hospital Dublin. Jill completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education in UCC in 2005. Jill also obtained a certificate in Appreciative Inquiry in 2012. Jill is committed to promoting a positive attitude to older adults and has a particular interest in the concept of dignity in the area of residential settings and long term care for older adults.
