Aisling Owen is currently a PhD student working under Dr. Barry Sheehan and Prof. Martin Mullins at the Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick. Her research centres on the Governance of Generative Artificial Intelligence within the Insurance Industry. Aisling is also a Teaching Assistant in Risk Management and Insurance in the Department of Accounting and Finance. Prior to commencing her PhD studies, Aisling's professional experience involved Risk Consulting for PwC Middle East and Captive Insurance and Risk Management Solutions for Aon Dublin. Aisling holds an MSc. in Risk Management and Insurance, and a BA. in International Business from the University of Limerick.
