Veronica O'Regan received a PhD in German Literature from the National University of Ireland (Cork) and is Associate Professor in German Studies at the School of Modern Languages and Applied Linguistics, University of Limerick. She is a member of the Centre for Applied Language Studies and the Centre for Irish-German Studies. Her research interests include second language acquisition & study abroad, critical discourse analysis, corpus linguistics, intercultural media relations, post-war German literature and stylistics.
