Veronica O'Regan received a PhD in German Literature from the National University of Ireland (Cork) and is a lecturer in German at the School of Modern Languages and Applied Linguistics, University of Limerick since 1994. She is a member of the Centre for Applied Language Studies and the Centre for Irish-German Studies. Her research interests include second language acquisition & study abroad, critical discourse analysis, corpus linguistics, intercultural media relations, post-war German literature and stylistics.
