Petra is a lecturer and Course Director of the MA in Guidance Counselling & Lifespan Development in the School of Education. She qualified and worked as a guidance counsellor before completing her PhD on the guidance counselling needs of adults with dyslexia. Petra teaches modules on career development, professional practice, inclusion and Special Educational Needs (SEN), and research methods at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Research Interests
Key research interests include adult guidance counselling, 'holistic' guidance counselling, and inclusive guidance practices.
