Dr Pat O'Dwyer is an Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor in General Practice and Primary Care, GP Lead Placement Co-Ordinator and GP Education Programme Lead in the University of Limerick School of Medicine. He is a General Practitioner in a single-handed practice in Cappamore, Co. Limerick since 1993 and a graduate of UCC. Involved in Medical School U.L., since 2009, he was initially a practice-based tutor for third year students and subsequently a Regional Placement Co-Ordinator. Previous roles include: Principal Tutor for I.C.G.P. Certificate Programme in Geriatric Medicine; M.I.C.G.P. examiner; and Chairman M.I.C.G.P. examination sub-committee.
