Biography
Emily is a Lecturer at the Department of Sociology. Before joining the University of Limerick in August 2022, she was senior researcher at the Think-tank for Action on Social Change (TASC).Her research area is economic sociology, with a focus on inequality, stratification, labour markets and the life course. She has carried out cross-national research in several European countries, and worked at Oxford University, University of Zürich, and at the University of Luxembourg. Emily studied Business, Economics and Social Studies at Trinity College Dublin, before completing her MSc in Sociology at Oxford University. Emily holds a PhD from the University of Lausanne (NCCR LIVES), Switzerland.
