Dr. Ciaran Eising
Biography
Ciaran is a lecturer in the Dept. of Electronic and Computer Engineering at the University of Limerick, where his teaching and research are focused on computer vision and machine learning (with particular applications in intelligent transportation systems). Previously, Ciaran was a design lead of a cross-site, multi-national team for computer vision systems with Valeo Vision System (Computer Vision Platform), based in Ireland. Most recently, he has been working on projects that include object detection, structure from motion, motion segmentation, sparse point cloud clustering, and sensor fusion support.
