Research Interests
I am interested in how knowledge is generated, used, valued and interpreted and this translates into research interests in:- Patient involvement and communication in health care (minimally disruptive healthcare, patient evidence, communication in healthcare, shared decision making);
- Clinical practice (bases of clinical decision making, implementation science);
- Epistemology (evidence based practice, science and pseudoscience, evidence anthologies);
- Metaresearch ( research on research, document content analyses), and;
- I have a specialist interest in Dysphagia (swallowing disorders) specifically bolus modification techniques including thickened liquids and sensory and chemesthetic stimuli.
