Biography

A'Qilah Ahmad Dahalan is a PostDoc in MACSI and CRIS within SMART 4.0 Marie Skłodowska-Curie CONFIRM programme. She received both her BSc (Mathematics with Computer Graphic, year 2012) and MSc (Applied Mathematics, year 2014) degrees from the Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Malaysia. She completed her PhD degree in 2020 from the National Defence University of Malaysia (NDUM), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on the topic 'Numerical Simulation of Robot Navigation Algorithms Using Families of Block Modified Two-Parameter Over Relaxation Iterative Methods'.
Her doctoral research was focused on the development of an intelligent robot algorithm involving various iterative methods. Since 2014, she had been working with NDUM as a Senior Lecturer. She has published various papers in journals, book chapters, and conferences in this research area. Joined the University of Limerick in 2022 and her research work during SMART 4.0 fellowship will focus on developing a modified accelerated iterative method and implementing a new parallel algorithm for robot pathfinding.
