Our Partnerships for Transnational Education

During their four-year degree programme, almost all of our undergraduate psychology students spend at least one semester at an overseas university studying modules in English. Supported by the Departmental International Coordinator and the UL Global Office, the time spent overseas gives students an international perspective on their psychology education and enables them to experience cultural diversity. As well as providing the students with significant advantages in the job market after graduation, such experiences help lay the groundwork for developing tomorrow’s global citizens. The Department of Psychology has agreements with a number of Psychology departments in Europe, the US and Canada.

International Master's Programme

An exciting new international master’s programme in the Psychology of Global Mobility, Inclusion and Diversity in Society (Global-MINDS) is delivered jointly by UL and partner universities in Lisbon, Oslo, Istanbul and Warsaw. Students on the programme can take courses at two or three of the five universities depending on which stream they choose. This prestigious programme is open to students from all over the world and is funded by the Erasmus programme. Scholarships are available to support students in their studies.
