Research interests in Medical Education are in the areas of social accountability of Medical Schools, Teaching and learning, Accreditation and Cost and Value.  

Current Projects: Determinants of Social Accountability of Medical Schools in the Eastern Mediterranean, Role of Service Learning in promoting Social Accountability.
