How do we close the “Feedback Loop” with our students?
Students often tell us that they fill in a lot of questionnaires whilst they are at University but seldom do, they see evidence of how their feedback has been analysed or enacted by their lecturers. Over time this can lead to them becoming less motivated to participate in future evaluation processes. To address this, we can help our students to understand that feedback from SETs is reviewed and valued by their lecturers, and that it carries real importance for them and the wider teaching team. Crucial to the success of the SET’s is how we communicate to students the results of their evaluation and as a result how this feedback will be addressed.
