A two-day meeting of the Irish Mathematical Society is being co-organised by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and the Mathematics Application Consortium for Science and Industry (MACSI) at the University of Limerick together with the Department of Mathematics and Computer Studies at Mary Immaculate College.
The aim of the meeting is to bring together researchers from a wide range of mathematical topics of interest to the mathematical community on the island of Ireland.
The previous meeting was held at Technological University Dublin in September 2022.
We gratefully acknowledge financial support from the Irish Mathematical Society; IBEC; SIAM UKIE; the University of Limerick (Department of Mathematics and Statistics/MACSI, Faculty of Science and Engineering, UL President, CONFIRM, SSPC); Mary Immaculate College (Department of Mathematics and Computer Studies).
SIAM UKIE Student Poster Presentation Prize
Postgraduate students/early career researchers are invited to display a poster. The poster session will take place on Thursday 31 August, 4.40pm – 5.40pm in the foyer of the Bernal Building (outside rooms MSG024 - 025).
A prize for the best postgraduate student's poster is sponsored by the SIAM UKIE Section. The award will consist of a certificate and a monetary prize of 100 Euro. The purpose of the Student Poster Presentations Prize is to recognise outstanding scholarship by students in mathematics. We are grateful for the SIAM UKIE Section for sponsoring these awards.
Students presenting a poster should print it and bring it to the conference themselves (A0 portrait format).
