After two years of virtual careers fairs, it was wonderful to welcome back, in-person, our employers and students for the on-campus Autumn Careers Fair on the 29th of September 2022.
The largest careers fair to date, it attracted over 180 employer exhibitors, and was attended by over 2,200 students. For the regional, national and global employers, it was an opportunity to showcase their organisations, graduate programmes and graduate starting roles. For UL students, the fair encouraged them to interact face-to-face with top graduate employers, build their employer network, and discuss specific career opportunities.
In advance of the event, Cooperative Education & Careers Division rolled out a series of supports around CVs, applications and self-presentation to help our student learners to make the most of the fair.
