On Friday, 7 October 2022, the Cooperative Education and Careers Division launched the Early Careers Employer Forum.
This forum has a specific focus on the attraction, recruitment, selection and retention of early career graduates.
The event attracted over fifty graduate employers across a wide range of sectors, including financial services, medtech, IT, automotive, food, pharmachem, professional services and public sector.
The data and results of both the graduate employer survey and CECD’s graduate attraction survey were presented. An SME financial services employer spoke about their experience of navigating the world of early career graduate attraction. The high turnout reflects the competitive, diverse and nuanced world of early career graduate attraction and the central role that UL plays in the graduate talent arena.
