The School of Modern Languages and Applied Linguistics (MLAL) would like to invite guidance counsellors to join us on the UL Campus to learn more about the benefits of continuing languages into Senior Cycle and studying languages as a core, or elective, element of an undergraduate degree.
Information on what studying languages at UL is really like and the opportunities that open up for students with language skills after graduation will be provided.

This event is kindly funded by Languages Connect and is free to attend.

This #ThinkLanguages event funded by Languages Connect provides a chance for Transition Year students to explore language learning opportunities and meet Irish comedian Killian Sundermann. Lots of activities including a language and culture escape room, a music and dance workshop and a big quiz. The national illustration Culture Shocked! competition will also be launched.
