Spring term 2026
For the Spring term 2026, we offer our continuation programme of evening language courses (in-person or online) for general purposes in French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, Arabic and Chinese.
The evening language classes, with various levels on offer, will resume the week starting the 26th of January 2026.
- The classes are open to UL students and UL staff members as well as members of the general public.
- Each course consists of 20 hours class contact over 10 weeks running from January until April 2026.
- In-person and online classes are held from 18.00 to 20.00 on one evening per week (Tuesdays or Wednesdays, depending on the language/level/mode of delivery).
- Please note that we may not have places available in all existing groups. Please also note that no new groups will be offered this coming term, as a result, none of the existing groups are suitable for complete beginners.
- The courses are designed for adult learners interested in learning a language or improving their existing foreign language skills.
- We also offer tailor-made courses for private groups/organisations. Arrangements can be discussed with the course coordinator (see details below).
- For more information on the classes offered, please contact Dominique Le Meur by email: LanguageOutreach@ul.ie
