University of Limerick is pleased to announce the launch of a new MSc in Applied Social Data Analytics, aimed at equipping graduates with the skills to analyse and interpret data in ways that inform real-world social and policy decisions.
Developed within the Faculty of Education and Health Sciences, the programme responds to growing demand for expertise in data analysis across a range of sectors, particularly where data intersects with social issues such as health, education and public policy.
A key feature of the programme is its emphasis on applied learning. Students will work with real datasets and develop analytical approaches that can be used in professional contexts, including policy development, research and service delivery.
As data plays an increasingly central role in shaping policy, services and societal outcomes, the ability to translate complex information into meaningful insight is more important than ever. UL has designed this master’s to equip graduates with the skills to support evidence-based decision-making across a range of sectors; helping organisations better understand and respond to the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
