Seminar: Autism and the city

The Autism@UL Special Interest Group (SIG) welcomed Keith McAllister, Director of Architecture and Planning, School of Natural and Built Environment, Queen's University Belfast. Keith reflected on the need to introduce change into the environment in order to create inclusive spaces for living and learning.
Keith’s ongoing academic research is focussed broadly on the relationship between Architecture and Fear, especially for those populations without a voice. As the extremely proud father of a wonderful autistic son, his particular interest is in the relationship between architecture and autism.
