  • Foster highly trained PhD graduates.

What do we do?

  • We host monthly meetings where we share our priorities, initiatives and research with each other. Attendees may join in-person or virtually.

  • We apply for funding to engage in research and impact initiatives.

  • We contribute to research as participants, stakeholder advisory groups, or experts.

  • We contribute to the university level Human Rights Education Diversity and Inclusion committee which is committed to including all voices in decision-making.

  • We host one webinar, seminar or event per semester on a topic of relevance to the group and wider community.

  • We promote our presence in UL and invite people with an expertise in autism to join the Autism@UL SIG.

  • We develop connections with the autism community to work together and develop a research agenda that has a local, national, and international impact.

  • We share methodological expertise to inform and develop research in our respective areas.
