The MSc in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering is Ireland’s only standalone Master of Science course in this field.  

It is designed for graduates of chemical engineering or other technical disciplines who wish to expand their knowledge and career opportunities. 

This research-led programme is taught by a team of experts whose work is recognised internationally, as reflected in UL’s QS global ranking in chemical engineering (top 250).  

Students will benefit from a curriculum that blends advanced theory with practical application, preparing them to tackle complex engineering challenges.
