Joan has spent most of her career working within the educational sector in Ireland and abroad, she has worked in Universities in Melbourne, Australia and Durham University in the UK. Joan graduated with a degree in Business Studies from the IPA and a MSc in Equality studies from UCD and spend 10 years working in student support roles in the DIT Access Service and DIT community projects. She remained in the educational sector and started working in UL in 2014. Joan joined the CTL team in Sept 2016 and job shares with Karen Mc Grath.
