Based in the Centre for Transformative Learning (CTL), David works as UL Project Lead on the Irish Universities Association (IUA) Enhancing Digital Capacity in Teaching & Learning in Irish Universities project. David works closely with staff, programme teams, and disciplines across all academic faculties to enhance their digital capacity, confidence, and competence by devising and facilitating professional development opportunities and providing mentorship where necessary. By addressing the professional development of all who teach and support teaching & learning related activities, David seeks to mainstream the appropriate, competent and confident use of digital technologies in order to improve students' digital learning experiences and achieve pedagogical aims.
