The University Concert Hall

The University Concert Hall is a premier venue, offering a versatile space for large-scale conferences, events, concerts, and exhibitions.

There's a great selection of on campus cafés and restaurants serving home cooked food available to students, staff and visitors

Student learning centres

Students have access to free learning centres that offer supportive guidance in different aspects of study. The centres offer support in-person or online.

Our campus supports many different clubs and societies, including trampolining, underwater hockey, and boxing.

Specialty facilities

Flight simulator

UL is home to Ireland’s only academic flight simulator, where aeronautical engineering students train using advanced simulators and “The Flying Classroom,” a fully equipped teaching aircraft.

Patient simulation suites and digital labs

Our state-of-the-art Simulation Suite includes a high fidelity simulation lab, a control room with state-of-the-art AV technology and an observation area and debriefing space.

Wall Street style trading floor

The Kemmy Business School has a simulated Wall Street style Trading Room - the first in any Irish university.

Moot courts

The School of Law opened the first state-of-the-art replica courtroom in Ireland on a university campus in 2010. The courtroom has all the traditional equipment and embellishments including a judge’s bench, plaintiff, and defence benches, as well as a 12-seat jury box and witness stand.

UL is a pedestrian friendly campus and the river path can be used for running, cycling, walking. Our trails are home to the Limerick ParkRun event which takes place in every Saturday morning.

There are trails to and from Limerick city, around campus and in Castletroy:
