Sustainability is about how we live, move, plan and care for both people and the planet. This six week, Level 9, micro-credential explores sustainability across key areas like transport, tourism, planning, services and natural resources, with a focus on real-world challenges and solutions.

You’ll learn how to assess sustainability from environmental, economic, social and cultural perspectives. The module also looks at inequality in the context of sustainability including gender, race, sexuality and disability. Using real case studies, you’ll learn how to apply these ideas in your own organisation or sector.

Whether you work in planning, education, policy, services or community development, this micro-credential will give you a solid foundation in sustainability and how to put it into practice.

This module is associated with Climate Adaption and Sustainability - Professional Diploma. It can be taken as a standalone micro-credential or as part of a pathway to a larger award.
