Research plays a vital role in shaping effective teaching and learning in health professions education.

Whether you’re involved in curriculum design, faculty development, or clinical teaching, the ability to understand and conduct research is essential.

In this 12-week, Level 9 micro-credential, you’ll learn how to design research studies, gather and analyse data, and critically evaluate educational literature. You’ll explore key research methods and build the skills to investigate meaningful questions in your own teaching practice.

You’ll also develop a complete, ethically sound study proposal, giving you the confidence to take the next step in your research journey.

This module is associated with the MSc Health Professions Education. It can be taken as a standalone micro-credential or as part of a pathway to a larger award.
