Preventing and managing infections is essential to protecting patients, staff, and communities.  

This 12-week micro-credential prepares you to champion infection prevention initiatives, manage outbreaks, and drive quality improvement.  

You will assess national and international best practices, develop governance frameworks, and implement infection control strategies across evolving healthcare services.  

You will also explore, surveillance systems and pandemic preparedness, applying microbiological and epidemiological data to infection control decision-making. 

The module is delivered in collaboration with clinically based subject matter experts and health service partners.
