Process Safety - Professional Diploma

The Professional Diploma in Process Safety equips engineers and scientists with the knowledge and skills to manage process safety risks in complex industrial environments.
You will explore how process safety is embedded through procedures, practices, design, and organisational culture and learn to identify hazards, assess risks, and apply human factors to improve safety outcomes.
The programme is delivered part-time over one academic year, with online lectures (weekday evenings) and one on-campus workshop (weekend, daytime) per semester.
You will also complete a work-related process safety project (over two semesters) and be assessed through assignments (in-semester) and on-campus (in-person) written exams (end-of-semester).
This diploma is designed for professionals working in the bulk pharma-chem, biopharma, or process industries.
This programme will earn 30 ECTS credits towards a Flexible Masters Pathway, allowing students to combine Postgraduate awards to achieve a Master’s over time.
