Entry Requirements for applicants from China:
- An equivalent qualification to the Irish Leaving Certificate or A levels (UK system).
- Students are required to hold a Senior High School Diploma including English, Mathematics and another language with an average grade of 80% or above.
- Particular programmes may require specific subjects.
- English language requirements also apply.
Please note that some programmes may have a higher entry requirement and/or a portfolio requirement and not all applicants who meet the minimum grades will be offered a place.

Ms. Ya Nan Wang works as the cultural assistant to the Chinese applicants at UL.
She meets with Chinese students on their arrival at UL and assists them with the transition from Chinese to Irish culture. As well as organising cultural events, she organises regular meetings with students during the academic year.
